405 Squadron WWII Crew Remembered
On 3 September 1942, Halifax LQ-M with a 405 Squadron crew on board crashed in Belgium. 78 years later on 3 September 2020 a memorial to the eight crewmen who perished was dedicated with the participation of some members of the municipal authorities and some friends the memorial was unveiled with the Canadian, English and Belgian hymns near the crash site in Belgium. The memorial was designed and crafted by Serge Halleux, Administrator of the 1940 French Remembrance Museum of Haut-le-Wastia, Belgium
